My Life as an artist
I’ve been creating since the age of 18, starting out painting Christmas windows around my hometown of Nelson, New Zealand, before quickly expanding into large-scale murals and exhibition pieces. By the time I was 23, I had painted over 5,000 square metres of murals and had become known for my fun, expressive, and colourful work. Over the years, my practice has evolved into mixed media and sculpture, exploring the dialogue between culture, history, and the world we live in today. I’m passionate about using sustainable and recycled materials wherever possible and love creating art that tells a story and transforms spaces. Whether I’m building installation pieces, theming environments, or sketching on a scrap of paper, creativity is simply part of who I am.

High Water Mark
High Water Mark was originally designed and exhibited at 'The Waves of Change festival" at The ArtScience Musuem in collaboration with Costal Natives.
It reflects the fragile relationship between human progress and the environment, highlighting the tension between waste, upcycling, and humanity's impact on the planet.
The artwork is sculpted from recycled and reclaimed objects as well as marine, construction and commercial waste. The body is built from a sea kayak that was dug up at Changi Beach and the features represent a scale model of marina bay and downtown Singapore. Additional sculptured features are made from recycled clothing, apoxy clay and fibreglass.
